On to Christmas morning.  What a weekend we have all had.  We are so blessed to have such great friends and family.  I am not sure I have ever felt this blessed before. Everyday with the kids and Brad make me realize how blessed we are and how thankful we are to have each other and our extended families.  Near or far, we always know how blessed we are and we could not ask for anything more.  My heart is full and I cannot imagine how much better life gets watching these two grow.  I wish I could stop them now and protect them from all the hurt and misery they will have to experience in life, just living. I have to tell myself daily, it will make them better people having to experience life, but protecting them and keeping them in our safe bubble is what I want to do.  It's hard to believe I could feel more blessed than I do right now.
The garage is full of empty boxes, the kitchen is full of food left from the day, the house is full of toys and such, the kids are upstairs passed out from their great two days spent with the family(miss ya'll Bubba and Alyssa), and as I sit here updating the blog...I cannot wait until the morning to watch the two kids play together and drive us crazy.
Santa has been here..now we wait 'till the kids come down to open presents.(we did not sleep at all)

Checking out the loot
What is this?
Liam is texting and driving already
Liam was opening a present and pulled really hard on a piece of paper and once it tore, he tumbeled down.  I got it on video...it was hilarious.
He had a hard time getting in the bus and up the slide at first.

He got a REALLY cool Radio Flyer car from Pop and Nanny

Ashlynn was so fast at opening presents this year..it was hard to get pictures.  She loves purple, so the purple slippers were a hit.
Santa brought a lot of things from Justice this year.  She is so into Peace signs and preteen things.  She is ONLY 7. UGH

Aunt Kimme got Liam a drum set..he didn't get to see them out of the box last night, so when he walked into the living room this morning..he was in heaven.  He LOVES music and instruments.  He played this drum set all day.
We all got jackets from Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Steve, so we all modeled them so they could see us in them. Ashlynn took this pic.
Pop and Liam were chatting about their cool jackets.
Smile everyone...ya, this is the best I could do.

We all had a great Christmas.  We missed Bubba and Alyssa and hope to see them soon.  The kids were spoiled rotten(which is what is suppose to happen), and we all got to spend time together and watch the joy of Christmas in our house.
Merry Christmas to all.  I hope you are as blessed as we are.
